Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar PV Project Manager to join our client’s team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of solar photovoltaic projects. You will work closely with a dynamic team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solar PV systems that meet our clients' needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets for solar PV installations.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the acquisition of permits and approvals.
Source and procure solar PV components, manage suppliers, and subcontractor relationships.
Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
Implement quality control measures and testing to verify system functionality.
Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
Identify and mitigate project risks, with a focus on timely problem resolution.
Enforce safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of project personnel and the environment.
Monitor the performance of solar PV systems and develop maintenance plans.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and asbuilt drawings.
Manage project finances, track costs, and ensure adherence to the budget.
Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in solar PV projects.
Complete project closeout activities, including final inspections and handover to the client.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
35 years of experience in solar PV project management.
Proven track record of successfully managing solar PV projects from conception to operation.
Strong knowledge of local and international solar PV regulations and standards.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Project management certificates (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) would be preferred and considered a plus.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong problemsolving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in the solar PV industry.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Experience with financial management and budget control.
Sustainability and environmental awareness.
